Full payment and $100 property damage deposit are due at time of reservation. Must agree to terms and conditions. If you notify us of your cancellation earlier than 30 days before your scheduled wedding date, you will receive a 50% refund of your reservation fee and 100% of your property damage deposit. If you notify us of your cancellation within 30 days of your date, there is no refund; however, you will receive a refund of your property damage deposit. Please understand that cancellations within 30 days of reservation prevents another couple from having that time slot. In addition, no-shows will not receive any refund.
Reschedule is accepted if you notify us of your reschedule request earlier than 30 days before your scheduled wedding date. Please contact us by email.
We are an outdoor wedding venue that may be affected by weather. For example, at a Sunset Wedding there is a possibility that the setting sun may be obscured by clouds. In addition, we are a rural location. Please note that there may be sounds associated with a rural area, though rarely an issue. Please consider the unpredictability of the weather and rural location before reserving.
Parking: If you anticipate more than 28 vehicles, you are required to make shuttle arrangements for your guest to and from Chapelle de Mouton or rideshare. No parking allowed on Shaw Dr. or other property across from or adjacent to Chapelle de Mouton.
Insurance: You are required to purchase event insurance from www.eventhelper.com and list Dachimoo Ventures LLC dba Chapelle de Mouton as an ADDITIONAL INSURED. Insurance is not required if you do not have any guests attending your ceremony. (Example premiums: 2 to 40 people $65.80. 50 people $76.81. 100 people $100.05, etc.). Proof of event helper insurance required before arrival. Host liquor liability (included at no charge with event helper insurance) is required if you request alcohol service. You agree to indemnify Dachimoo Ventures LLC dba Chapelle de Mouton.
All facilities used for your wedding including, but not limited to, the chapel, bride’s room, groom’s room, chapel tower, parking lot and reception hall must be left in same condition when you arrived, and premises vacated by all participants and attendees/guest by the end of your reservation time. If any property on the premises should be damaged by any participants, attendees and/or guests of your wedding and/or reception, the costs associated with any damage will be claimed on Eventhelper insurance. Eventhelper insurance does not cover the purchaser of the insurance. Eventhelper insurance covers any damage caused by your participants, attendees and/or guests. As purchaser, you agree to be individually liable for any damages you may cause. You agree to pay Eventhelper deductibl to Chapelle de Mouton in the event of damages. If damages are less than Eventhelper deductible, you agree to pay up to deductible maximum to cover any damages. If damages exceed Eventhelper deductible, you agree to submit claim to Eventhelper and pay Eventhelper deductible to Chapelle de Mouton. Any damage caused by purchaser of Eventhelper insurance, will be taken out of the $100 property damage deposit. Any damage cost that exceed the $100 property deposit, will be charged to your credit/debit card or billed directly to you for payment. You agree to be responsible for any such damage charges. Any out of the ordinary cleaning will be taken from property damage deposit. Any cleaning that exceeds the $100 property damage deposit, will be charged accordingly. You agree to be responsible for any out of the ordinary cleaning. You will receive a full refund of your property damage deposit if there are not any damages.
We do not allow outside beverages during your reception. We offer beer, wine, champagne, and non-alcoholic beverages at our reception hall. You can purchase them from our alcohol & beverages list for your reception. Beverage serving services are provided at no extra charge. If you have more than 40 people, Travis county requires the presence of a law enforcement officer. This will be a small additional charge. We handle the scheduling of law enforcement officers.
No bird seeds, confetti, artificial flower petals, or rice are permitted to be thrown. Bubbles are suggested. Real petals are permitted to be thrown; however, you are required to clean them up or a $200 cleaning fee will be charged.
Anything that would cause fire, including candles and sparklers, are strictly prohibited by the Fire Marshall. Unity candle in reception hall is an exception.
The premises are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted only at designated smoking areas. Cigarettes may only be disposed of in appropriate receptacles at designated smoking areas.
No littering is permitted on the premises. Trash is accepted only in the designated trash cans installed in the premises. Large trash must be taken with you. In case large trash is left on the premises, the cost associated with cleaning the area will be covered by your security deposit or charged accordingly if cost exceeds security deposit.
No food and drinks are permitted on the premises except in bride and groom rooms and reception.
Any out-of-control or unruly guests will be asked to leave. You agree to assist in this process.
The gate to chapel tower stairs is locked; however, on your request it will be open for 15 minutes for a wedding photo shoot during your reservation time. The tower is only available for the wedding couple and a photographer. If you plan a photo shoots in the chapel tower, please let us know in advance so we can schedule to unlock the gate.
Our chapel is dog friendly. Chapelle de Mouton needs to be notified of any dogs participating in your wedding in advance. Dog owners are 100% responsible for their behavior and biological needs including scooping, bagging, cleaning and sanitizing as needed as well as putting a leash on their dogs while on the premises. Plastic bags are available and installed on the premises.
